The big challenge in studio monitoring is translation. Making sure that your mix sounds the same outside of your studio as it does inside. For that to happen you need to hear your mix as it is, without anomalies coming from your monitor or your room's acoustics.
The 8c Studio will give you exactly that, because it is not just an extremely accurate monitor, it also has RoomMatching. The 8c Studio works together with the acoustics of your room, instead of against them.
As a result, you will have perfect translation. You will achieve more, with less effort.
The 8c Studio is a joy to work on. It provides precise detail and clarity without causing listening fatigue, so you can work as long as you want to.
And, because you will hear exactly what's going on in your mix, you can produce more high-quality work in significantly less time.
With the 8c Studio's full-range flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, your mixes will translate over to other speakers, cars, AirPods, etc without surprises.
You will effortlessly hear what your mix needs, so you don't have to rely on heavy EQ and compression. In short, your mixes will be better than ever before.
Creating a stellar mix can be hard. The last thing you need are unreliable monitors that add stress and uncertainty to your process.
While the 8c Studio may not solve every challenge, it will take the guesswork out of your process. That means improved workflow, fewer revisions and in the end, happier clients.
Stop going back and forth between different rooms and monitors to make sure you’re on the right track. If it sounds good, it is good.
The whole point of monitoring is to hear what your work sounds like. If you can't trust what you hear, you're shooting in the dark.
Let's be honest, the 8c Studio is a substantial investment. But so are its returns, as well as your savings. With the 8c Studio you'll have no need for subwoofers, secondary monitors, extensive acoustic treatment or external room correction.
Seamless Room Integration
Spend less time and effort finding the best placement, dealing with modes and other acoustic issues: let RoomMatching do its work, let your 8c Studio's adapt to your room, instead of the other way around.
If you want to consistently produce top-class work, you can't afford to let your monitoring be the bottleneck. You need the truth.
8c / Studio DifferencesAcoustically, the 8c and the 8c Studio are identical. There are however a few differences you should take into account when making your choice.
Most speakers need careful placement to perform optimally. A full Dolby Atmos system can consist of eleven or more speakers in the same room, making correct placement of each individual speaker virtually impossible. Because the 8c Studio is highly directional and placement-insensitive, it is very suitable to be applied in a Dolby Atmos setup.
